Skehan confronted the men who drew their guns on her. They both followed the man to a vacant lot and learned he was trying to sell weapons as well as a funeral mask that had been stolen from one of Caveira's favorite museums. Skehan disregarded the comment and ran after the man with the brief case. Caveira told her to ignore them as they were off duty. While visiting the Parthenon, Skehan noticed two suspicious men exchanging a brief case. Upon returning to Greece, Skehan and Caveira went on a trip to Athens to go sight seeing. While the training was intense, Caveira and Slege enjoyed their time at the farm and the beauty of its surrounding landscape. A short time later, Skehan invited Caveira and Sledge to train at her family farm in Ireland. Skehan accepted Caveira's offer and was recruited into Rainbow and placed on Team Caveira for the upcoming Six Invitational. She quickly rose through the ranks as a tactical weapons expert and helped re-design the unit’s obstacle course, referring to the former design as a “walk in the park.” Towards the end of 2021, word of her course reached the ears of Taina "Caveira" Pereira, who upon barely completing the training exclaimed with exhaustion “You want a job?” Skehan not only finished top of her class, but would routinely assist other applicants through the training gauntlet. Only five percent of applicants pass the grueling two-week entrance exam. She later applied for the Garda’s elite tactical branch, the Emergency Response Unit. Over the next four years, Skehan displayed impeccable service and became aquainted with Seamus "Sledge" Cowden. This incident caused Skehan to join the Garda Síochána the very next day, and never she saw Liam again. One night he led several criminals onto the farm where they burned a stable to the ground, killing the champion horses inside. His many addictions led him to the racetracks, where he fell into the pockets of organized crime members. Her youngest brother, Liam, ultimately led her to make a decision. She believed the military to be an "easier" route and wanted to challenge herself. While it was a Hawthorn family tradition to eventually abandon farm life for the military, Skehan contemplated joining the police force. When she wasn’t outwrestling one of her five older brothers, she was helping her parents breed and raise thoroughbreds for the tracks as well as for the mounted division of Ireland’s national police force. For several generations her family was heavily involved with both. You can go to Ubisoft's website to learn more about the map changes.Skehan grew up on a farm in a part of Ireland known for two things: horse racing and military training. This also adds a new map and Operators- and a lot more. These changes are presumably coming to Siege as part of the much-anticipated free Blood Orchid 3.0 update. There is no word yet on when the Map Preference system may come back for PvP, but Ubisoft teased that it is "exploring some alternative implementations we believe can improve the experience." The maps that were removed from Ranked and Casual are still playable in custom games, so they are not lost entirely.Īnother announcement that Ubisoft made about maps today is that the "Map Preference" system, which lets teams choose maps, is going to be deactivated for all PvP modes, though it'll stay online for Terrorist Hunt. The 15 maps that will be available once the change is made include Bank, Clubhouse, Oregon, Kafe, Consulate, Chalet, Border, Coastline, Skyscraper, Kanal, Hereford, University, House, Plane, and Theme Park. Sometime after the current Season 3 of Siege, Ubisoft will completely remove some maps in part because the game is closing in on the data size allowance. It might be a while before some of the removed maps return, if they ever do, as Ubisoft said "some of them will be over the course of the years to come." Some of the maps that are taken out of rotation-but not all of them-are going to be reworked by Ubisoft's level design team. "We have identified the steep learning curve that our new players face in terms of map knowledge, and this is one of the ways that we plan to address it," Ubisoft said. Ubisoft is doing this with the aim of helping players learn the maps faster. "The Ranked playlist, much like the ESL playlist, will be rotated each Season, offering a different selection of available maps."Īs for the Casual changes, the number of maps in the playlist is dropping to 15. "Moving forward, we will introduce the new Ranked and ESL Pro League playlists at the same time we perform the rank reset-and all of that will occur at the start of the new season," Ubisoft explained.
